Monday May 18th
Please watch the posted video in which I introduce the equation of a circle. When done, log onto IXL and under Learning, go to Geometry (G) under Topic V - Circles, Parabolas in Coordinate Plane, #7 Graph Circles from Equations in standard form.
Tuesday May 19th
Please watch the posted video on some more practice with the equation of a circle. I model a few of the questions on the assignment and the rest are for you to complete today. When you are done, please send a picture of the assginment and send to me through the assignments in Edmodo. Keep your work in a safe place as I will go over the questions in tomorrows video.
Wednesday May 20th
Please watch the posted video where I go over the homework assignment from yesterday. Please make sure you understan the questions in which you need the distance formula as you will have to do this on today's Deta Math assignment. The assignment on Delta Math is "5/20 Writing the Equation of a Circle".
Thursday May 21st
Please watch the posted video in which I review the process of Completing the Square. We will need to be able to do this for Tuesday's lesson.When you are done with the video, log on to Delta Math and do the assignment "5/21 Finding the Magic Number to Complete the Square"
Friday May 22nd
Please watch the quick video in which I go over Completing the Square one more time so we are ready to apply it to the equation of a circle on Tuesday. When you are done with the video, log on to Delta Math and do the assignment "5/22 Completing the Square to get a Perfect Square Trinomial".
Tuesday May 26th
Please watch the posted video where I go over how to use Completing the Square to put an equation of a circle in Center Radius form. I do #1-4 today and will continue with #5-8 tomorrow.

Wednesday May 27th
Please watch the posted video where I continue the handout from yesterday with #5-8. This is more practice with completing the square to get the equation in Center Radius form. When done, log on ot Delta Math and do the assignment "5/27 Completing the Square to put the equation in Center Radius form"
Thursday May 28th & Friday May 29th
Please watch the posted video in which I review the Center Radius form of a circle as well as transforming the equation of a circle into Center Radius form by Completing the Square. Use this posted handout when doing the assessement if needed. When done, log onto Quizizz and use the code below to do the FIRST PART of the assessement. When done with that, the SECOND part of the assessement is to print or do the attached document on a piece of paper which consists of 2 questions. When completed, SEND A PICTURE of the completed assignment through Edmodo Assignments.
