Classroom Backpack Policy:
In class, we will move around on a near daily basis. We will work with partners and groups, rearrange desks, sit on the floor (if you choose), and stand and work on the boards. As a result, large backpacks are not allowed in Room 127 due to safety concerns (there have been past incidents where students have fallen over backpacks) and space. Students should carry their supplies (binder, calculator, and pencil), or to use a string-bag. Having a room where aisles are not blocked with backpacks creates a much easier and safer space to move around during class. Occasionally a student will struggle to find a solution - but I can assure you, there has never been a situation where we were unable to work it out. Please have your son or daughter speak to me privately, and I will review their schedule and come up with a plan that works. Thank you for your understanding.
